Attached please find information concerning our 2012 Elite Clinic which will be held on June 9th at the University of CT. We are pleased
to announce that Big East Supervisor of Officials and NFL Crew Chief Terry McAulay will be our Special Guest and that Ron Baynes NFL Coordinator of Recruiting will again be in attendance this year.
Also please see the attached registration information along with a release form that you need to sign and bring with you on June 9th.
The feedback from last year's Clinic was all very positive but we still want to make this year's even better! With the addition of Terry McAulay along with NFL Officials Ed Camp, Jim Debell, Jim Quirk, Jim Mello, Paul King and fellow Big East official Brian Platt, Our Staff has the BEST OFFICIALS IN THE EAST as Instructors.

OUR MISSION
It is our mission to provide football officials at all levels with the training and expertise to improve officiating quality and consistency. This is a great Opportunity for you to increase your knowledge of officiating and to learn from some of the best football officials in the “business”.
Breakout session discussions and film review will be lead by NFL officials and/or top level College Division 1 Officials
The Program will include group sessions and position break out meetings that will be supported by training film from the 2011 NFL and College Seasons
There will be more clips from our college games this year as requested through feedback from last years clinic (…Yes those surveys really do mean somethingJ)
Discussions will focus on officiating consistency, philosophies, mechanics and techniques. All of which contribute to an officials presence on the field.

For those of you coming in for a night or two, we have made arrangements with the Courtyard Marriott in Manchester, CT (www.marriott.com/bdlhm). They are offering a special “Elite Officials Clinic” rate (Not included in the clinic fee) of $87 per night. The rate is based on double occupancy and includes a coupon for a breakfast sandwich and free coffee in the lobby. This rate is good until May 8th, 2012. After that, the rate may increase.
