OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE OFFICIALS WITH TRAINING AND THE EXPERTISE TO IMPROVE OFFICIATING CONSISTENCY THROUGHOUT ALL LEVELS OF FOOTBALL. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO INCREASE YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF OFFICIATING AND TO LEARN FROM SOME OF THE BEST FOOTBALL OFFICIALS IN THE COUNTRY.
OUR 2011 CLINIC WAS A MAJOR SUCCESS WITH OVER 100 ATTENDEES. WE ARE PLANNING THE 2012 CLINIC AND WILL ANNOUNCE THE DATES SHORTLY AFTER THE END OF THE SEASON. WITH THE INPUT WE RECEIVED FROM OUR ATTENDEES, WE ARE WORKING ON IMPROVEMENTS TO MAKE THIS YEARS CLINIC EVEN MORE BENENFICIAL TO OUR ATTENDEES.
CHECK EVERY MONDAY FOR WEEKLY PLAYS FOR DISCUSSION AND VIDEO CLIPS OF PLAYS OF INTEREST. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO SUBMIT PLAYS OR RULES QUESTIONS FROM YOUR GAMES FOR OTHERS TO LEARN FROM YOUR EXPERIENCES.

Elite Officials Clinic
ELITE CLINIC 2012
We are pleased to announce our plans for the 2012 Elite Clinic(s):
We have secured the University of Connecticut facilities for June 9th 2012.
Our Special Guest will be Terry McAulay, NFL Crew Chief, Superbowl XXXIX & XLII Referee, and current Supervisor of Officials for the Big East Conference.
In addition, we will also have several current on-field NFL officials as position leaders along with current Big East and C-USA officials. The agenda will include plays from the 2011 College and NFL season, discussions on positioning, mechanics and philosophies, lunch and a social hour.
We will limit attendance to 100 attendees this year to ensure that each attendee will obtain as much personalized attention as possible.
NEW ON-FIELD SESSIONS FOR 2012
We are currently researching the possibility of offering 1 or possible 2 on-field clinics to be conducted in conjunction with spring football scrimmages at an area college(s) in April 2012.
We plan on limiting these sessions to 3-4 crews per scrimmage to maximize the number of snaps for each attendee. Each position will have a ‘coach’ who will conduct a pregame session the night before the scrimmage to discuss mechanics and philosophies in preparation for the scrimmage.
During the scrimmage the position coach will provide personalized instruction to the official and after the scrimmage will provide a critique of the official work and guidance for improvement.
In addition, our plan is to have in attendance a representative from the NFL Officiating Department to personally observe the scrimmage. As soon as we confirm the dates we will be sending out a flyer and putting together crews.
